When Jesus was pushed to answer the question; “what is the most important thing?”, Jesus answered, “Love your God with all your heart and love you neighbour as yourself”. We see both of these truths as the key to a thriving church community. Firstly we are called to worship our loving God and secondly, we are called to serve one another.
St Mary the Virgin has been an active church in Weldon for the past 800 years and has been able to support the Weldon community. We hope to continue in that tradition as we seek new and creative ways to be “Good News” to Weldon.
